AMULET project
The AMULET project, funded under the HORIZON 2020 INNOSUP program, has supported and co-financed projects that aim to exploit the innovation potential of small and medium-sized enterprises through a cross-sectoral and funded knowledge exchange. The project is an interregional partnership of ten EU countries including seven clusters, four RTOs and two SMEs.
The final objective of AMULET has been to contribute significantly to the reduction of CO2 emissions in the EU by enhancing the role of SMEs and consolidating new light industrial value chains, in addition to identifying current sectoral challenges by type of material advanced
Overall, the AMULET project has not only provided European SMEs with financial support to work on the prototyping and demonstration of cutting-edge technological solutions, but also to help them further develop their solutions by contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and to improve the efficiency of resources in the EU by enhancing the role of SMEs, in which it is expected that their innovations will be facilitated and supported by the clusters.
AMULET has offered educational support in technical knowledge (e.g. webinars) and business topics (e.g. B2B coaching) as well as a network of ambassadors offering business opportunities.
AMULET's educational programs and coaching activities are supported by the ELCA platform, an online innovation platform that acts as a matchmaking environment, exclusively aimed at clusters, companies and research centers working on related activities with light materials.
